Feeling Stuck? Start Smaller

Frustration fades when you focus on what’s already improving.

Frustrated with your progress?
Start by asking: Have I made any?

It’s easy to focus on how far you still have to go — and overlook how far you’ve already come.

This weekend, I got back in the sky — continuing to learn a challenging type of skydiving that requires precision, body awareness, and control. It’s been a slow learning curve.

Some of my jumps didn’t go as planned — they fell apart very quickly. But a few were solid. Not perfect. Nowhere close to elite.

But real progress based on where I started. And they were fun. Really fun.

Those small wins remind me I’m moving forward. They’re what keep me motivated. They show me that even if I still have a long way to go, I’m definitely not at the starting line anymore.

Growth is rarely obvious in the moment.

But it adds up — one step, one jump, one small win at a time. 🪂
